Our charity partnership with Share the Dignity https://www.sharethedignity.com.au/ - whose mission is to ensure no woman should have to suffer the indignity of going without sanitary items at a time when she needs it the most, regardless of her financial situation. Share the Dignity helps us to get our product in the hands of people in need, from remote Indigenous Communities where girls are missing school when they have their periods, to homeless and domestic violence shelters and many others who for different reasons don’t have access to sanitary protection. In 2018 we donated over 8,500 packs of sanitary products to help these women and girls in need. We continually work to strengthen our partnership and are proud to donate even more products in 2019; supporting the March Help a Sister Out campaign with 25,080 packs, as well as share the dignity drive in April.
We were also key supporters of Share the Dignity’s petition #axethetax- which was a key driver in in securing the Federal Government’s decision to remove GST/tax from feminine care products in early 2019.

Supporting the University of Western Sydney’s https://www.westernsydney.edu.au/ national research project (currently underway), which aims to reduce the incidence of undiagnosed menstrual disorders and improve the levels of knowledge and understanding relating to the menstrual cycle and its management among young women.
We provide useful information on puberty and changes to the body through Our U by Kotex® Education Programme – which supplies puberty education packs to schools throughout Australia, providing a detailed resource on puberty and menstruation for teachers and female students.

In Aotearoa, too many are forced to choose between basic necessities and managing their period. The Period Place https://www.theperiodplace.org is a charity organisation working hard to change this reality - through education, advocacy, and providing free period products to those who need them most. We are very proud to be a Strategic Partner of the Period Place, assisting them with their mission through financial support, ongoing donations of period products, partnering with campaigns such as the Woolworths Period Equity promotion in 2023, 2024 (and beyond) and exciting initiatives such as The Period Podcast and public access programmes nationwide. As NZ’s leading brand of period products, we are excited to help The Period Place drive awareness and impact in the period equity space for all New Zealanders.
